Cosy Corner Sligo Town Center

Comfy beds, central but overwhelmingly stinky. Positive: The house stank of a garlic smell coming from both the fridge and the bin. They seemed clean enough so I suspect the smell was from a sauce or condiment that was spilled but not properly cleaned up. There was a room freshener in the living room that may have been to dull the smell but it didn't. The stench even followed us upstairs to the bedrooms. We were only there 2 nights and the host did offer to send cleaners round - but as a deep clean was needed which would have taken time we declined the offer. Hopefully this will be resolved for the next visitors as the reviews of the house were very good which is why we chose it. The location was very central but I wouldn't have felt safe walking to it at night as a woman. Glad my husband was with me. Negative: Overpowering garlic smell. Location while very central didn't feel great if I'd been on my own as a woman.

Great little house, super clean. Everything you would need for a stay in Sligo Positive: Lovely clean property. Nice bathroom and comfy beds. Conveniently located for a short walk into Sligo Negative: No direct parking but cheap car park a short walk

Prima voor een korte stop-over. Niet voir een lang veblijf. Positive: Ligging vlak bij get centrum. Leuk authentiek huisje. Negative: Vrij somber en kaal, weinig aankleding en kleur (sfeer: grauw en grijs) Bedden zijn vrij hard.

Positive: Location was excellent. House was well kitted out with nearly everything we needed. Very clean and comfortable, Negative: Could have had more towels as there was 4 of us and only 2 large towels and 2 hand towels. Parking was difficult as on street parking was metered and the nearest car park closed at night.
